Fool Proof

Lee Kobus will be vending at Shadowdance on Sat. Night
and at the Workshops on Sunday

Now appearing as the incredible shrinking woman, Lee Kobus has been crafting her life in creative directions since 1972. In kindergarten she developed truth mouth and grew split tail and fork tongued to announce her career choice to be that of an *artist*. Her story includes the skills of glass and metal working, mold making, dance, performance and circus work, all the while keeping her hands busy.

FoolProof is the business housing of her artform.
Some swear the things she makes *are* larger than life!
{please visit my table for more serious humor,
carnivore & vegan alike.}

I will be vending my "URCHINDISE" collection of unique
intentional adornment suited for life both off and on stage.

Black Lotus Clothing

Black Lotus will be vending at Shadowdance on Sat. Night
and at the Workshops on Sunday

The Black Lotus clothing line is a collection of unique, hand-sewn pieces inspired by the SF Bay Area belly dance scene. What makes Black Lotus unique is the care that goes into making each piece. Designs are painstakingly silk-screened onto individual parts, details like beads and feathers are carefully placed , and every garment is an original creation. The end result is a costume that serves a purpose as well as tells a story.

Katherine Summer Designs

Katherine will be vending at Shadowdance on Sat. Night
and at the Workshops on Sunday

Katherine Summer O'Neal's fashion career began at age four when she shredded her grandmother's favorite skirt for a hula costume. She graduated from San Francisco's Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in 2002 with a degree in fashion design. Katherine Summer worked with Teatro Zinzanni and as a patternmaker, cutter, and assistant at Azadeh Couture, joining Cari Borja in 2004. In addition to her freelance fashion and costume design, she currently teaches knitting at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of San Francisco.

Her signature style combines love of color and graceful composition with unorthodox construction techniques to achieve a whimsical yet elegant gypsy aesthetic.

Katherine Summer's designs have been featured on the cover of Knitty magazine and the bodies of Ultra Gypsy, a San Francisco fusion bellydance troupe, as well as several Bay Area brides.

Geisha Moth

Geisha Moth will be vending at Shadowdance on Sat. Night

i LOVE individuality and unique creative expression
in every dancer! My desire is not to reach & ‘produce’
for the masses, but it is to clothe those that naturally tend
to be ahead of the trends AND are daring to be different!

Fashion is forever evolving... Dancers tastes and styles are always changing... . I want to dance in that creative tempo
of moving forth! I can’t stand still.

Join my tribe and my design journey... this is just the beginning.
